Blinov Stanislav Ivanovich
  • In the paintings of Stanislav Blinov  we see obvious visual echoes of Futurism, Expressionism and the analytical method of Russian avant-garde classic Pavel Filonov.
  • Crystalline fragments grow and take shape in Blinov's paintings, delineating energy currents and lines of force.
  • The artist is drawn to topical content. But he rearranges and stylizens his contemporary, "hot" subjects using the metaphoric and formal language of officially canonized art, in particular that of the early 20th century, for which the artist feels a special affinity.
  • For him, this period is the beginning of modern history and the source of all modern art prototypes.
